How to Blend On Procreate

One of the simplest ways how to blend on Photoshop with brushes is with a single, large, smooth brush. The very first step in learning how to blend on Photoshop with brushes is to find the Brush Selection Tool located at the bottom of your screen next to your character’s portrait. Once you’ve found this, double click the Brush Selection Tool to open the selection palette. Here you’ll find many different brush selections and other tools that will help you create the effect you desire.

The next step is to use the composition option to create the layers you want to blend. To do this, click on your artwork and choose Layers. You will then see a blank layer beneath your current layer. Click on the + sign to add a new layer. Each time you make a change to your layer, it will update your previous blend. If you want to completely redo your previous work, simply erase the layer you are working on and begin the whole process again.

The next step is to select a few of your most favorite images that you would like to combine into one canvas. Select All in one layer from the layer palette. When you are done selecting, hold down the shift key while clicking on the layer you want to place your artwork on. Your chosen image will be moved to the center of your canvas in order for you to see what you have created.

The last step is to pick a couple of your favorite brushes to use to apply your Procreate blending effects. Again, select All in one layer from the layer palette when you are done selecting which brush to use. Using the blenders on your brushes will give you great control over how your layer’s blend. In order to apply your brush movements, simply click and drag the brush over the image that you want to be blended. It is important to know that in order for you to get the best blending results, you must start your work at an angle other than straight up and down.

Last, but not least, let’s cover how to blend on procreate by using the smudge tool. This tool is available from your composition tools menu. To use the smudge tool, simply hold the TAB button on your keyboard and click the Smudge Tool in the toolbar. The smudge tool allows you to create lines and smudges in your artwork that will help give it depth and a unique look. To blend your lines, hold the TAB button and drag the mouse cursor over your selected image.

How to Blend On Procreate is very easy to do. You can experiment with different methods until you find the one that works best for you and your projects. By using the tools provided by the Blender Library, you can make blending on Procreate as easy and fun as possible.
