How to Blend on Procreate

As one of the most popular free Photoshop tips, learning how to blend on Procreate is simple and fun. You simply need to find the Brush Tool in your main picture area and then click on the plus sign symbol next to the left-hand edge of your text box. Click the left button in order to add your new Brush.

When you have chosen a suitable Brush, you will see a red arrow prompt. Use the arrow keys to drag the top of the brush toward the center of the text. The distance between each of your slanting strokes should be exactly one pixel. Stop when you have created a smooth border for your Procreate images.

One of the simplest ways to learn how to blend on Procreate is to simply place two or more images next to each other and create a Clipping path. Click on the little plus sign symbol to add your first Clipping path. Now simply drag two of your Brush selections onto your image to start creating the effect of a clipping path. Notice how the two images are created using similar color palettes that match the primary colors of the background and foreground item.

If you wish to learn how to blend on Procreate with two images of the same size, you will notice how the size of your Clipping path changes as you drag the selections outwards and merge them with the anchor points in the lower portion of the image. Use the up and down arrows to control the depth of your Clipping path. Notice how similar the colors of the two images are when they are blended together. This is another simple blending technique that you can easily master in just a few minutes of practice.

If you wish to learn how to blend on Procreate with the use of brushes, you need to master one of Procreate’s built in blending modes called” Blend Options”. By default, you can use the following Brush Properties palette to modify the blending settings for your brush: Size, stroke colour, pattern style, and value. However, you can also modify these values by right-clicking the brush selection area of the toolbar and clicking the modify brush option.

If you learn how to blend on Procreate by creating different effects with the paintbrush, you can apply these effects to your artwork by selecting the appropriate mode from the Brush Properties palette. Once you have learned how to blend on Procreate, you can experiment with different brush styles and patterns to achieve unique results. For example, you can use the default brush style for everything or you can apply an effect to your sketches by selecting either the Stroke Effect or the Pattern Effect. By experimenting with the different modes on the Brush Tool, you will be able to develop your own signature of how to blend on Procreate.
