Procreate Pocket is a paid one-time fee of $4.00 from the Apple mobile app store. Given that it’s an iPhone app, you’ll need to buy it only from the iPhone store and directly download it via there. This is absolutely free to do. The only requirement is that you need to provide your credit card info. It is not a recurring membership or subscription, like some other apps in the app store do.
If you’re already using another procreate painting software app such as the regular procreate, then the free version of procreate pocket will not affect you in any way. The reason is that you still have to pay to unlock advanced features such as exporting/ importing pictures, editing, and adding decorations. There are other procreate painting software programs that allow you to enjoy all these exclusive features for a flat one-time fee.
One of the coolest features of this app is that it lets you paint on your own canvases from your iPhone! You’ll be able to do everything that you can do with the regular app. You’ll just need to set up the software to enable it on your phone. This allows you to change/add/ remove decorations on your canvas while you’re away from home and working on your projects.
Another cool feature of the Procreate pocket is that you can upload/ import pictures from your computer or your digital camera. You can easily do this since the iPhone has a built-in camera which allows you to transfer the photos you’ve taken using your camera to the Pocket. Of course, the size of the photos doesn’t matter. As long as they’re not too big, the iPhone can read them and have them printed out. The printing process takes only a matter of minutes.

You can then choose where you want the paper, font, and clipart to be saved, before heading to the “Save” section which accepts different options such as a PDF, JPEG or BMP file.
