When you select Highlighting from the palette, a list of all of your most recently saved images will be compiled into one colorful array. These colorful palette entries will allow you to create unique and creative animations or use them to achieve other effects you may want to accomplish. If you want a more complex animation, you may want to save your creations in a file format such as Flash.

The key to learning how to animate on Procreate is getting your sketches and animations organized. It doesn’t matter what type of sketch or animation you’re trying to accomplish, it can take a lot of time to get everything arranged so that everything looks good when you are finished. Luckily, it really doesn’t need to take as much time as you may think. By keeping your sketches organized in a file format such as Flash, you will be able to quickly load them up into the appropriate program and begin creating the animations that you want.
